Still (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a recovery and sobriety tracking app developed by Aqose. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following data to provide app functionality:

  • Name — Your first name, provided during onboarding, used to personalize your experience.
  • Health & Recovery Data — Information related to your recovery journey, including clean time, substance use history, urge logs, craving events, relapse records, and feeling logs.
  • Journal Entries — Text content and mood selections you enter in journals and reflections.
  • Usage Data — Interaction data such as sessions completed, features used, and app activity to support functionality and improve the experience.
  • Purchase History — Subscription status and transaction data managed through RevenueCat to provide access to premium features.
  • User Identifier — An anonymous user ID generated at first launch. We do not collect your email, phone number, or real-world identity.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain core app features (tracking, journaling, coping tools).
  • To personalize your experience within the app.
  • To process and manage subscriptions.
  • To schedule local notifications on your device.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — Cloud database and anonymous authentication. Data is stored securely on Supabase servers.
  • RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat processes purchase data to manage your subscription status. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

4. Data Not Collected

We do not collect:

  • Email addresses or phone numbers
  • Precise or coarse location data
  • Contacts or address book data
  • Photos or videos (camera is used on-device only and images are not transmitted)
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Browsing or search history

5. Tracking & Advertising

We do not track you. We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics tracking tools, or data brokers. Your data is never shared for advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored both locally on your device (via AsyncStorage) and on secure cloud servers (via Supabase). All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. Your account is anonymous — no email or password is required.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as you use the app. Since accounts are anonymous, you can delete your local data at any time by deleting the app from your device.

8. Children's Privacy

Still is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw from data collection by discontinuing use of the app.
  • Delete your account and all associated data from within the app at Settings > Delete Account.

Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed from our servers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
